SANS – Executive Cybersecurity Exercise

Abstract:

The Executive Cyber Exercise will put you inside a simulated cyber event to help your organization understand what it takes to respond to a cyber incident from a strategic perspective. The simulated exercise will emphasize the importance of a well-practiced cyber crisis plan and the leadership skills required to deal with today’s threats. Our facilitators will use real-world experience and industry best practices to expose areas for improvement in their crisis response plans within a safe environment.

Daniel King

Cyber Exercises Facilitator, SANS

Daniel is responsible for developing and leading SANS Executive Cyber Exercises to evaluate and improve organizational leadership, readiness, and enterprise resiliency. Daniel’s decades of experience managing incident and disaster response from the local to the strategic level established him as a trusted advisor to public and private sector leaders, globally. Daniel was the Chief of Cybersecurity for CISA, Region 1 within the Department of Homeland Security, the Global Lead for IBM Security Command and he retired from active duty with the U.S. Army after 30 years of service. Daniel is a CISSP, CCSP, and GICSP.
