Abstract:

Cyber risk has become a defining enterprise issue at the highest levels of leadership. For CIOs, CISOs, and executive leaders across the C-suite and VP ranks, threat intelligence is no longer a technical output—it is a strategic input that directly influences business direction, investment decisions, and organizational resilience.

This panel brings together senior executives responsible for enterprise-wide strategy, technology, and security leadership. The discussion will explore how C-suite and VP leaders are using cyber intelligence to inform executive decision-making, shape enterprise risk posture, and align security priorities with business outcomes in an increasingly volatile threat environment.

Michael Rogers

Chief Information Security Officer, Markmonitor Group

Michael Rogers is Chief Information Security Officer at Markmonitor Group, the world's best known corporate domain registrar and a global expert in domain portfolio management and online brand protection. He leads the company's information security program, setting security strategy, driving internal risk posture, and partnering with product leadership to shape a security-driven product strategy that solves real problems for clients. Michael brings 16 years of cybersecurity experience, including more than 100 incident response engagements across nearly every industry, much of it on the front lines negotiating, investigating, and recovering from breaches in real time. That experience was built at a leading incident response firm, where he served as Managing Director of Resilience Advisory, advising executive teams on crisis readiness and board-level risk communication. Before that, he spent nearly eight years at a global leader in security operations, where he built and scaled the company's SOC from 2 to more than 50 analysts and engineers in support of some of the world's largest enterprises. Beyond Markmonitor Group, Michael is an active voice in the security community. He chairs BSides Tampa and leads the ISC2 Tampa Bay Chapter, and has spoken from stages including RSA, SANS Institute, ISC2, BSides, NetDiligence, and Fal.Con, with his work published in Dark Reading.

Drawing on over 30 years of leadership experience, our team develops strategies and mitigates risks across industries, with a focus on governance and operational solutions that safeguard our clients’ interests. I hold CISSP and CISA certifications and a Berkeley Executive Education certificate in AI Business Strategy, and have built my career translating complex risk into clear, executable direction—including how AI reshapes both the threat landscape and the defender’s toolkit. As Vice President of Cybersecurity & Cloud Services, I craft vision and roadmaps that steer clients clear of emerging threats and deliver tailored assessments that become robust, sustainable security frameworks. I also serve as a CISSP exam writer and as Interim Chair of The Diana Initiative, a nonprofit advancing inclusion in information security. John Shin

He has authored cybersecurity research papers for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, the Forbes Council on Cybersecurity, and an open-source organization focused on security frameworks for cryptocurrency. John is a winner of the Digital Fight Club in AI and Cybersecurity category and frequently speaks at cybersecurity and business executive organizations, including ISACA, ISSA, YPO, and EOS Worldwide.

Aaron Weissenfluh

Chief Operating Officer, Tenfold Security

Aaron cofounded Tenfold Security after serving twelve years as the Chief Information Security Officer of Cboe Global Markets (previously Bats Global Markets) and a year at American Century Investments. He joined Bats Global Markets in 2008 and built the information security program from the ground up. Following the acquisition of Bats Global Markets by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), he became the Global Chief Information Security Officer of the combined entity. In his role, he oversaw all information and physical security along with environmental, security compliance, personnel security, monitoring and policy/procedure. Aaron holds an MBA and bachelor’s in education from the University of Saint Mary and a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University. He currently serves as a board member of the University of Saint Mary Board of Trustees and maintains a CISSP certification.
