Abstract:

You spend your career hardening networks and protecting organizations, but when did you last assess your own career risk? Most cybersecurity professionals have no incident response or business continuity plan for the one event that potentially could impact all of them: losing your job. James McQuiggan knows firsthand. After an unexpected career disruption, he had to do what he teaches others to do and that’s assess the damage, triage the situation, and rebuild. Sounds like a typical cybersecurity event, but this time on ourselves. This session delivers the practical, no-nonsense career resilience framework every security practitioner should have before they ever need it.
