Sanjay Deo is the Founder and President of the consulting firm 24By7Security, Inc., a member of the company's Board of Directors, and a global authority on Cybersecurity and Compliance. He has 30 years of experience in information technology, business process management, IT Security and Compliance. He is a Cybersecurity Evangelist and has spoken on various topics like "Compliance is Not Security" and "A Cybersecurity Tsunami is coming: Are You Ready?". At 24By7Security, the corporate mission is to advise clients on building a defensible platform in the face of rising direct and indirect Cybersecurity and Privacy incidents due to increased cybercrime, regulations, and legal action. Sanjay is a big proponent of the mantra "Don't Risk IT, Secure IT" and focuses on proactive cybersecurity management. Sanjay conducts Executive Briefings to Board members and C-Suite management levels on topics like phishing, ransomware, and related subjects. Sanjay also acts as a "Breach Coach" when necessary and has assisted multiple clients with ransomware negotiations and remediation. In recognition of the large amounts of time Sanjay has spent on volunteer service for the community, he has been honored as a recipient of the President's Lifetime Achievement Award, granted to him in 2022 by US President Joe Biden. Sanjay holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CMMC Registered Practitioner, Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), and a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

Mical Solomon

Chief Information Security Officer - Port Authority of NY & NJ

Mical Solomon is the Acting Chief Information Security Officer at the Port Authority of NY & NJ. Mical has worked in the Information Security/Cyber Security field for over 20 years during which time he has served in various roles in IBM Security and Consulting and as the CISO at NASCAR. Mical also has provided Cyber security advisory for several boards and for the University of South Florida’s Executive Cyber Certificate Program. Mical has an undergraduate degree in Education and a Masters in Cybersecurity. Mical also holds several industry certifications including a CISSP and credentials from AWS.

Felipe Medina

Chief Information Security Officer, Geographic Solutions

Responsible for overseeing information security operations and compliance initiatives within the dynamic Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, Felipe managed a team of security personnel, handling day-to-day functional duties, administrative responsibilities, and resource planning. He specifies and implemets processes and policies for Security Information and Event Management systems, ensuring effective monitoring and response capabilities. He conducts continuous ethical hacking on internal environments to identify potential vulnerabilities, participating in vulnerability assessments for the network and applications. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders being a key byproduct for him to assess security requirements, ensuring that all designs met compliance standards. He provides oversight for the penetration testing process, generating detailed reports with recommendations for remediation and improvements. He also directs the vulnerability management lifecycle, which included discovery, risk analysis, remediation tracking, and the generation of monthly reports, ensuring that vulnerabilities were mitigated promptly in accordance with applicable compliance requirements. Felipe supports incident responses for all security-related issues, maintaining a 24/7 operational readiness to address any concerns, working closely with internal and external resources to conduct and report on penetration testing, performing comprehensive white-hat testing and providing actionable insights. Lastly he evaluates information security policy compliance, including internal audits and training programs, to ensure overall effectiveness, maintaining the security of all systems by implementing robust measures to meet industry, legal, and compliance standards, while also overseeing the technical review of applications to identify potential risks and compliance needs.
