Leading Through Uncertainty: Crafting Cybersecurity Strategy in a Quantum-Ready Era

Abstract
The rise of quantum computing is poised to disrupt the cybersecurity landscape, challenging traditional encryption, risk models, and long-term data protection strategies. For enterprise leaders, the question is no longer if quantum will impact security—but how to prepare today while operating in a high-risk environment. This keynote session provides an opportunity for technology executives to explore actionable approaches for managing quantum-related risk, aligning cybersecurity investments with business priorities, and building adaptive, resilient programs. This discussion will share real-world lessons on future-proofing critical systems, prioritizing initiatives, and navigating uncertainty in a world where emerging technologies are rewriting the rules of defense.

Key Takeaways

  • Understanding the potential impact of quantum computing on encryption and enterprise security
  • Strategies for integrating quantum risk into current cybersecurity and business risk frameworks
  • How to prioritize investments and initiatives to balance immediate threats with long-term readiness
  • Approaches for building flexible, resilient security programs in uncertain environments
  • Lessons from early adopters and quantum-aware organizations
